About the Office of Finance and Business Services
Finance and Business Services (FBS) oversees the budget planning process and is responsible for generating a balanced budget each fiscal year. Our commitment to financial transparency can be seen through our consistent dissemination of clear and accurate financial information to the public. Tri-C has received accolades from the Government Financial Officers Association (GFOA) for our Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), Budget Book and Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR).
The Vice President of Finance and Business Services reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Administration and Finance. The following five diverse departments are led by the Vice President of Finance and Business Services:
- Accounting and Financial Operations
- Campus Services and Retail Operations
- Planning, Budget and Strategic Support
- Supplier Managed Services
- Treasury Management
These departments manage various operational and administrative activities including budget management, general, grants and foundation accounting, investments, payroll, student billing, campus dining, bookstores, procurement, contracts management and accounts payable.
